    Jack R. Thomson, 83, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Dorothy "Dottie" (Martin) Thomson.
    Mr. Thomson was born in York, May 1, 1933, son of the late Clifton M. and Beatrice H. (Stauffer) Thomson.
    He served his country honorably in U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a machine operator for 20 years for the former Continental Wire and Cable, retiring in 1993. In addition, he was a school bus driver for the Reliance Bus Company.
    He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, York.
    Survivors include four children, Lee A. Thomson and his wife, Brenda of York, Donald P. Feeser of Manchester, Christopher A. Feeser and his companion, Sue Ellen Ferrentino of York, and Valerie A. Shaffer of York; nine grandchildren, Scot Feeser, Jennifer Smith and her husband, Bruce, Jason Feeser, Chase Feeser, Heather Shaffer, Angel Gentzler and her husband, Tom, Amber Shaffer, Tiffany Sylvester and her husband, Ron and Jessica Feeser; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Barry L. Thomson and his wife, Rayetta of York. He was preceded in death by a son, Tod M. Feeser; a grandson; Steven M. Feeser; and a brother, Clifton N. Thomson.
    There will be a memorial service 11 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2121 Roosevelt Ave., York. Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Skip Nizinski. Burial will be private in Greenmount Cemetery, beside his wife Dorothy.
    At the family's request, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2121 Roosevelt Ave., York, PA 17408.

    Clifton N. Thomson, 72, died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of Joan M. (Nicholas) Thomson.

    A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. at Good Shephard Lutheran Church, 2121 Roosevelt Ave., York, for those who wish to attend. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., York, is assisting the family.

    Mr. Thomson was born November 19, 1940 in York, a son of the late Clifton M. and Beatrice H. (Stauffer) Thomson.

    He has been employed at Anaconda Wire Co., and later as a truck driver. He was a life member of the Viking AA.

    In addition to his wife, Clifton is survived by his children: Chris L. Thomson, Kelly L. Thomson, Lorrie A. Sappe, Karen J. Hartman and her husband Robert; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jack R. Thomson and Barry L. Thomson. He was preceded in death by a son, Tracy N. Thomson.

    Manchester - Barry L. Thomson, 82, of Manchester Township, passed away December 23, 2020 at UPMC Memorial Hospital.

    Mr. Thomson was born on September 19, 1938, son of the late Clifton M. and Beatrice H. (Stauffer) Thomson.

    He is survived by his loving wife, Rayetta "Rae" (Elicker) Thomson of 64 years; two sons and a daughter in law, Barry and Maryellen and Michael Thomson. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Clifton.

    Barry retired as a manager for the former York News Agency, where he was employed for 45 years.

    Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
